Introduction to SCR denitrification catalyst

Working principle and process flow of SCR denitration catalyst
Flue gas denitrification catalyst is also called SCR flue gas denitrification catalyst. SCR is short for Selective Catalytive Redution. The principle of SCR reaction is: under the action of SCR catalyst, NOx and NH3 can be selectively catalyzed to form pollution-free N2 and H2O. Therefore, SCR catalyst, also known as denitrification catalyst, is the main core of denitrification process of flue gas of coal burning enterprises and boilers, which can be widely used in denitrification of electric power, steel, chemical industry, as well as nitrate, nitric acid manufacturers, high-temperature waste incinerator and other systems.
The principle of SCR denitrification is to use appropriate SCR catalyst, at a certain temperature (200-400 ℃), take ammonia, etc. as reducing agent, take advantage of the selectivity of reducing agent, give priority to reaction with nitrogen oxide, and reduce it to nitrogen and water. Selective catalytic reduction has high efficiency and is currently the best technology that can be widely used in the treatment of fixed source NOx.
Process characteristics of SCR denitration catalyst
The temperature of SCR denitration reduction reaction is relatively low, and the reduction reaction can be carried out within the temperature range of 200℃ ~ 400℃. The reaction speed of SCR denitration is fast and relatively stable, with the characteristics of low energy consumption. The denitrification efficiency of SCR method can be up to 95%, the ammonia leakage rate is less than 2×10-6, the concentration of NOx in the exhaust gas is less than 100ppm, the normal operating temperature is around 300℃, the reaction needs the coordination of catalyst and reducing agent, the injection point is set as a single plane, suitable for various units.
SCR catalyst must meet the following requirements: (1) have a higher NOx removal rate, ammonia escape rate is low, after purification in the tail gas NOx concentration is low; (2) in the lower temperature and wider temperature range, has a higher catalytic activity, that is, the operating temperature window is wide; (3) has a better resistance to chemical stability, thermal stability, mechanical stability ability; (4) lower operating costs.
