Sodium chlorate: The chemical formula of sodium chlorate is naclo3, with a relative molecular mass of 106.44. Usually white or yellowish equiaxed crystals. Taste salty and cool, soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol. It has strong oxidation in acidic solution and decomposes oxygen above 300℃. Sodium chlorate is unstable. When mixed with phosphorus, sulfur and organic matter, it is easy to burn and explode, absorb moisture and agglomerate, and toxic. In industry, it is mainly used to produce chlorine dioxide, sodium chlorite, perchlorate and other chlorates.
