Hunan Oriental Scandium Co., Ltd. is a hi-tech enterprise mainly engaged in new technology development and production of rare earth and dispersed metal elements, represented by scandium. Our company has passed ISO9001,ISO14000 and ISO18000 certifications. OSC is a new material enterprise accredited by Hunan Economic and Information Technology Commission, and is the first enterprise which made the breakthrough by boosting the output unit of scandium oxide from kilograms to tons. OSC has become the worldwide leading company on production of scandium oxide. Besides its business of the scandium industrial line which including the recovery of scandium from waste water and residue, the technology R&D and production of scandium oxide, scandium metal, Al-Sc master alloy, scandium compounds and Scandium zirconium ceramic electrolyte materials, etc. in various specifications, OSC has also developed and mastered core production technology of high-purity rare earth metals, rare earth alloys and other advanced materials in large production scale. At present, almost all the scandium in the world is extracted by method of comprehensive utilization. Our company is the earliest enterprise which successfully developed the method of large-scale recovering of scandium oxide from waste water and residue, with heavy technical accumulation. We have three invention patents and another two patents under review.OSC has mastered the production technology of extracting scandium and comprehensively recovering valuable elements from tungsten residue and red mud. What's more, we have our own patent technology of purification of scandium oxide with high-purity. We have formed an integrated business structure of raw materials, rare earth products and new materials, and established good co-operation relationships with many inland enterprises and research institutes. Our products have been exported to Asia, Europe and North America and won high praise from customers.
