Shandong Caiyangzi Saltworks, located in the north of Shouguang City Shandong Province, was established in 1959. It covers an area of 22.8 km2, with a staff of 1000 . It is the No. one supplier of table salt products in Shandong P.R. China. The annual outputs of the main products are : the crude salt 400,000 tons, the table salt including the PVD SEA SALT and Crushed-refined Salt 300,000 tons , deicing salt and Industrial Salt 400,000 tons, Para-cresol 5,000 tons , Octabromoether 5,000 tons , Industrial bromine 5,000 tons .
